Our History

Founded in 2017 as a technology investment advisory and management consultancy firm advising, mentoring, and investing in promising high-growth technology start-ups, the group has evolved into a multi-strategy alternative investments advisory firm. We advise and invest across asset classes and types, investment cycles and stages, in frontier, emerging, and developed markets.

Today, through our network of affiliates and partners positioned at global financial centers in Tokyo, Singapore, Dubai, Geneva, London, and New York, we source, structure, and secure alternative investments deals across Asia-Pacific, Central Asia, Middle East, North Africa, Europe, and Americas.

We advise and invest across Venture Capital and Private Equity deals in frontier and emerging markets to provide our accredited and institutional investors with well diversified and highly uncorrelated attractive risk-adjusted return opportunities.

Daniya Ismagilova

Senior Corporate Banker and Alternative Investments Professional with 20+ years of experience in structured trade finance in Emerging Markets. Advised major British banks and Japanese financial institutions on multi-billion dollar structured asset backed trade finance deals in Middle East, North Africa, Turkey, and Central Asia, while on academic sabbatical and/or expatriate posting in London, UK, and Tokyo, Japan. Former Head of Trade Finance Corporate Credit and later on Bank Guarantees and Stand-by Letters of Credit at National Bank of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan's largest commercial bank.

Responsible for general oversight, compliance, risk management, and deal execution across our portfolio and markets.

World Bank, IMF, and BIS trained Economist at Joint Vienna Institute, Austria, who holds an MSc. in International Securities, Investments, and Banking from the International Capital Markets Association Centre at Henley Business School, University of Reading, UK, and an Alternative Investments Certificate from Harvard Business School, Harvard University, USA.

Otabek T. Gadayev

Corporate Entrepreneur and Alternative Investments Professional with 20+ years of experience in automotive, commodities trading, and investment management across the globe. Former Chief Operations Officer of Toyota Central Asia, a franchise owned by Sumitomo Group, Japan, and a Vice President at Olam International Ltd, Singapore, for Middle East and North Africa region. Global Senior Product and Regional P&L Leadership roles with Nissan Motor Corp and Olam International in Central Asia, Former Soviet Union Countries, Japan, and Middle East.

Responsible for advisory engagements and venture capital investments as well as deal origination and structuring across private debt and private equity placements. Venture Partner and IC Expert member on automotive and mobility at Spike Ventures, Silicon Valley and Stanford University affiliated venture capital firm.

Holds an MBA from IE Business School, Spain, a BSc. in Finance Management and Computer Science from Syracuse University, USA. Certified Advanced Project Management by Stanford University, USA and FinTech Certification from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA.

Elbek Gadayev

Finance and Banking Professional with 20 years of experience in execution of large-scale infrastructure and energy project finance deals in emerging markets. Former Banker at European Bank for Reconstruction and Development responsible for Manufacturing and Service Sector. Head of Structured Finance Department at JSCB Industrial Construction Bank - Uzbekistan’s largest commercial bank. Head of Finance Department at Enter Engineering PTE Ltd. – largest EPC Contractor and Head of Risk Management and Business Planning Department at KDB Uzbekistan – Leading Foreign Bank.

He has been engaged in structuring and execution of multi-billion US$ Upstream & Downstream greenfield projects, incl. US$ 3.7 Billion SURGIL project, US$ 1.7 Billion Revamp of Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex, and a US$ 4 Billion Uzbekistan GTL.

Holds MSc. in International Business from University of Westminster, UK, and a BSc. in Banking from Tashkent Institute of Finance, Uzbekistan. Certified Project Management Professional(PMP) by Project Management Institute(PMI) and Financial Modelling Certificate from Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.
